View of the New BAC Long Distance Learning Center from the South. While paying homage to the city grid it superimposes a new paper for a combined public area to the East. This new three story building will have a visual presence that reflects the commitment to the environment and provide a living and learning focus. It is also a consideration that the schools around the building will use the exhibition area which is located on the south. A number of energy efficient and and recycled initiatives will be employed. It will also contain parking at the lower level for 6 energy efficient electric cars which will be recharged with energy captured from solar panels on the exterior skin.
