Ancient and modern

Perhaps the most interesting avocation of architects which allows creativity is the City. From Ancient Ur to Modern New York, the density of man has always been a love hate relationship for professionals. In the next few entries of my Blog I share some of my past research......of more than four hundred urban patterns. Prepared as an extension of my Bachelors of Urban Planning and organized further during my years of teaching at the University Level at several schools. Many books are available on the scale of buildings and their relationship to site. I will delve into the components: The Social, Site Geography, Political, Economic and Social aspects of the City.
