Back from somewhere

Inside the Tate Modern, London- it still looks like a power plant but it is USED!  Herzog and Meuron Museums come and go but this one is expanding.

Sugar was never this sweet! The massing model seems it was made with cubes of sugar.

If you haven seen any of Jean Nouvel's work in Paris it is a striking and educating experience in Technical items of architecture. Like Foster and others a use of steel and glass components doesn't give you the "warm and fuzzes", such as the Frank Lloyd right Falling Water or work by the California  Green Brothers.
The addressing of environmental issues is handled in new and direct ways.

From the inside of the toilet room the ocular shade control is controlled by a link to the energy management system. It various the amount of visible light that reaches the interior by changing  the aperture of the metal shade which has a pattern based on Islamic symbols and forms.
