I had a chance to return to the site of a High School which I helped design in 1988. The feeling of being apart of a design which has become a fixture in the community. This building "fits" the landscape is wearing well. Although we all know how collaborative architecture can be, it is still a sense of accomplishment when we see what we have done, that propels us onward. Working in two dimension and then walking through the space is what sets architecture apart from art and to a large extent sculpture.

This particular school has 1,500 students and the school board was so enchanted with the design they duplicated the same design on another school and changed the red colored metal roof that is in this building to a blue and gave it another name. While I was not involved in the sister school between the two school it has approximately 250, 000 square feet of building under roof.
